    Vu+ Duo Skin

I have ordered a vu+ duo and will be installing VIX image on it from various feedback.

But what skin would you reccomend? Im after one that looks clean and is simple.

Ive used some skins in the past on my dreambox which have too much info on the infobar (when you press ok)

    thanks

i would look at the default skin that comes with the image first
they are usual the basic type but iv'e never tried the vix images
but if the vix images have a download server like the blackhole images
you can get other skins and check if they are what you want by pressing yellow preview them before loading it

The ViX image comes with quite a good default skin, well Vix 2.4-151 does which is the skin I use. I have however modified it as for me it was just too dark as all the backgrounds are black.

Another think, skin is in the eye of the beholder, so something I like, you might despise so just get onto the plugins area and download a few to see which you prefer.

it also hacks it's way through so many system files rather messily which makes it almost impossible to fully remove if the user ever decides to usually needing a full reflash.

As RD sais the default is fine, I used to use the HD, but stick with the default skin :-)

The older ( sliver ) ViX Day-HD skin is still available and updated at the same rate as the now default ViX Night HD skin.
