Duo clone VIX image

Hopefully the last question Ill ask for a whole as i should be getting my box in the next few days.

I want to install VIX image on me Vu+ Duo Clone (from nextbay) but can I double check which is the latest safe image to flash.

if you are wanting a later image from Vix say 3.0 series then there is one posted on the ferrari forums which before i get my head bit off has been modified with old drivers and so has officially nothing to do with Vix Team

I dont mind a slightly older image as long as its compatible and all working fine. Thats why i posted the link in my first post.

One more questions regarding that image, when I get the box will i need to flash different/latest drivers or bootloader?

Should already be done for you on either V2.0 or V3.0 just flash the image you want.

It says tat I need to flash a kernel first when flashing VIX 2.3. As ill be flashing VIX 2.4, do I need to do this aswell?

If you have a Clone V2.0 or V3.0 then no you dont
