Yes you should have received in a clear seal-able bag a Null Modem Lead and a small chip board with an RS232 connector on the side.

Which VIX 3.0 image did you try? Only Vix 3.0 (155) works on clone boxes, newer images dont.

Does your front LCD screen work?

This is what i did;

- copy the Vix 3.0 (155) image to USB
- Turn off box from back, insert USB to front port and switch on
- Leave for 5 mins so it install the image
- Switch box off from back and remove USB
- Switch on box and hopefully it should be ok

The v2.0 version didn't work but I purchased 5 v3.0 and the panels work, had the vix image installed successfully but the epg kept crashing so I tried to re I stall vix them bricked, will try your method tonight and hopefully bobs your uncle cheers

Do you have the ferrari V3 clone? Which build VIX 3.0 worked for you as only 155 worked for me?

GOT IT WORKING!!!

So happy as i got the box working. The way you flash via USB is different than the guides here.

I put the USB in the box, switched on the box. At this point this is where you get the red light and there is nothing on the screen or LCD.

Leave it for 5 mins then switch off the box and remove the USB. Now switch it on and its flashed.

Next question is, nothing shows on the front LCD screen. How do i get it working?

The same problem have!!!???Only red led see!Help me please! I work with all the USB and with RS232,but can't nothing...only red led in the front. The fan cool don't work???!What can I do? I have original VuDuo and the last image OpenPLI.

Try blackhole 1.6.2 I had this problem with mine once it flashed with this image the box came back to life and the fan kicked in keep trying dont give up these boxes can be a real pain but worthwhile in my opinion
