V3 vu duo remote control help me it's christmas

Hello people been a member for a while but this is first time I couldn't find an answer searching the forums right I've just got some v3 vu duos from china for a few friends and a couple for Christmas presents for family but I can't get any of the remote controls to work tried the holding 2+7 down to program no led light up on the remote but it does if I press the tv power it does or stb power and hold it will light up anyone had any experience that can help me out. Thanks

How many duds are you talking about here? It will help with support - " few receivers for friends and some for family for xmas" are they all dead/showing same symptoms, have you swapped receviers / remotes etc?

Bad batch, something daft for me like next door neighbours - who are great as a rule and fairly friendly but their late teen boy racer lads with funky car alarms that stopped my door bell and DM remote from working seriously..... stumbled across that by mistake.

I think that if you can narrow down your own steps / fault finding you will get some better suggestions for solution.

Yes I tried the all the remotes with all the boxes (5 of them)my own v2 remote works on them all Had a read up on a few different places and they say you can program the remote to either duo, solo, UNO by holding 2+7 till an led lights then entering a code as they all come programmed for the uno but can't seem to figure it out and yes I've tried pressing the stb button but doesn't do anything one remote being dud I'd have thought nowt of but all of them just seems like there's something I may need to do. Thanks

                  1. Press 2+7 for 3 seconds until led is on.
                  2. Press HELP
                  3. Press 0001 or 0002 or 0003 or 0004

                  Mode 1 SOLO/DUO
                  Mode 2 UNO
                  Mode 3 & 4 for future models

I've got to agree with Dell it would be unheard of for all remotes not to work also gj has a point try them with new batteries.

JIM you need to get on to supplier and get them to send you duo remote's as the remote's you have are for vu uno clone and will never work with the v3 duo get them to ship the dhl express you will have them for next week
