Vu+ Duo Help Needed

I've just bought a 3 month old Vu+ Duo with 9 months gift which allows me to watch sky tv. I saw the box working on the lads tv who I bought it off but when I've connect it up at home it comes up with an error message saying "Service Unavailable, Check Tuner Configuration" the EPG has no info for the channels and that error message comes up when i select a channel. All cables are connected correctly. Can anyone point me in the right direction as to how to get it sorted

have you got 2 sat cables connected and sat dish pointing to 28.2

Yes both connected and set to 28.2, Ethernet cable connected as well, my sky+ box still works if I connect it back up

check tuner config

Did he have a motorized setup?

Press menu then open setup then open service searching.

open tuner configuration select each tuner and make sure they are on simple single Astra 28.2 no for send disq.

Also check network settings for internet is set on use dhcp and he did not have it at a conflicting ip address to your setup.

Are you getting any channels at all?

It's started working for some reason. I did nothing different when I connected it up, just got no info in the EPG now
