    setting tuners ?

    hello guys

I have installed the latest image and cant for the life of me remember how i set up my tuners .
I have tuner b connected directly to a fixed sky dish and tuner a connected to a motorised dish

on my old image this is how it was configured when i moved the dish to a satellite the satellite icon would blink until the dish had reached its point

then when i pressed 1 (bbc1) the box switched channel immediately so the motorised dish was still at the other sat

it was great for flicking between 2 sats just cant remember how i done it ?

When I had that arrangement, if I remember correctly , I set the motor input on advance, and fixed dish input on simple, on that sat.

Set Tuner A to simple or single and select the satellite the dish is pointing at. I assume 28.2E.

Set Tuner B to advanced and enter each satellite you want to receive. Set diseqc to 1.2 and if you have a usals motor then just enter. If you have a non-usals ie actuator then set the "use usals" to NO an enter the numbers your V_Box or motor has has registered for the various satellites.

I have an actuator and V_Box and I set the sat positions so that I dont forget the numbers. ie 28.2 is number 28, 19.2 is 19 etc.

You dont need to use the advanced option if your using USALS on a motorised dish you just set Simple - Positioner and enter your USALS co-ordinates.

Advanced is usually left for Diseqc 1.0,1.1,1.2
