Removing Channels

I have been asked to remove certain channels from my VU+ Ultimo such as Adult and Sly box office etc . How can I remove them ?

I can remove them from Bouquets but can't work out how to remove them from my system

you can delete channels from the Bouquets with the remote
this clears them from being viewed unless re added from the service list
if you want to remove channels from the service list along with
radio and data channels,you can use the DCC and then send the edited list
to the box,

first mate let me say i should have said the dreamedit
to sort and deleate the channels you can get a download here

but you will also need a dcc
it's the dreambox control center so you can connect the computer to your vu or dreambox to transfer pluggins cccams etc to set the box up

open the dreambox edit and load your chn list, then on the sat
you want to deleate channels from,go to the left pane [service list]
and highlight the channels you want to remove then right click the mouse
and from the list that has opened select deleate services from all bouquets

I am doing that and it seems to delete them but when it asks me to reboot my box " by hand " and the channels are still there . If I FTP them back again they are there ?? I must be missing somewthing simple

when i edit or remove from a chn list with the dreamboxedit
and save the changes iv'e made i then use the dreamboxedit
to send the new chn list to the box

seems to be working now using SAVE then /FILE/ FAST FTP UPLOAD

be aware however that these channels will re-appear in the service or all channels list again unless you fully disable the background scanning option in the image ( this is not something that is recomended however ).

also for future reference when making changes to bouquets it's best to place enigma into sleep mode via the telnet init 4 command as like EPG data bouquets are held in live memory and this can and will overwrite any changes you make to the bouquets.
