Cannot watch another channel when recording

I have an intermittent problem with my Vu+ duo clone. Sometimes when i put something on record, i cannot watch any other channel as the screen just be's black. Im currently running OpenPLI image.

I think its a software problem than hardware as this sometimes it works fine and sometimes its not.

Are other people having this problem on OpenPLI image?

have you got 2 sat cables attached,seen some posts of second tuners having issues.

im using open pli 3.0 on my vu+duo and it records fine while watching another channel and its a genuine vu

its the clones that are troublesome

thats the end of that discussion then . for the price difference you migth a well bought a original
