Hi please help got new solo 2 got 2.5 sata hd want to format it do not know what cable i need to connect hard drive to pc appreciate any help thanks mial

Well seeing as the Solo2 only tkes SATA hard drives you have 3 choices depending on your PC the easiest one is to attach it internally to your motherboard and format it that way, Do you have an external E-SATA connector on your PC you could use that or put it inside a cheap external hard drive enclosure and do it that way.
Even easier attach it straight into the Solo2 and let the image format it with the hard drive settings in the menu
