image update gone wrong, help.

Hi all,
I updated my vix image today on my VU+duo and did not make a backup. 1st mistake. The update went absolutely fine but it deleted my CCcam.cfg and I cannt get it back. I used a previous backup to restore everything but the backup is not completing fully and it leaves me unable to access the box via ftp to retrive the .cfg file. So my question is basically this; can i create a dump of the cfg from the box to usb or does anyone know why i cannot access the box via ftp after the restore?

do you have a hard drive in your box as i do,i reflashed a new image and was able to import plugins and other settings that were on my previous vix image without having to ftp stuff back in,if i did it wrong i could factory reset and yes to settings and plugins.i use filezilla to access box with correct ip.

Make sure I.p. and password are correct in the backup.

I have managed to retrieve the CCcam.cfg file from my previous backup. however now when i FTP the file to /etc it doesnt become active and does not show in my softcam manager on the box? any suggestions?

Have you installed CCcam first?
