round in circles motorised and fixed dish

ive configured tuner a for motorised, and tuner b fixed at 28.2
when i bought the box it had previously only been used with fixed dish
and the bouquet was out of date .
so i loaded latest motorised bouquet with filezilla and ftp,
and now most chans are missing ,so do i have to send the motorised bouquet to a specific place within the ect/enigma2
menu?
also do you transfere the complete folder unopened from pc to ect/enigma2?
what im trying to say is do the tuners each have to have their own bouquets ,so uyou send one bouquet to tuner a and one to tuner b im not a newby but im new to the vu+duo

Use a software like Dream Edit, after configure and edit it does the necessary.

yes thanks i tried to connect with dream edit but wont connect to server so cant get to first base ?

What channel list are you using?

cats eye e2 settings from 75e 45w from this site.
tried dreamboxedit and dreamedit
once i can get the edit s/w to work
i understand ill have to edit the sats to remove the dross and the sats that i cant swing to

The same list serves both tuners see my post in other thread about setting your box profile as enigma2 in dbe not satellite receiver which is for enigma1

yse i did that selected the box enigma2 but when i try to upload the existing bouquet it starts then fails

Is there actually a bouquet on the box as you have said in other posts you haven't been able to connect with dbe to install channel list. If you can now connect with dbe start with a simple single Sat list and a set your dish to the relevant Sat or preferably user a fixed dish connection that you know is working and put medlocks 28.2 list into dbe and install it to duo or use my 4 or 5 multi sat list. These can all be found in the dreambox bouquet and settings section. As I'm sure you know with fault finding you need to take it one step at a time not just load everything then try and figure out what bit doesn't work.

im afraid for me its one step forward two back!
i tried to update the bouquet via the addon panel which it started to load
then box rebooted and now its stuck on starting !
as its a clone i went to ferrari site seems im not alone even mtd has had the same problem
mine is version 2 ive tried the recovery update and then reloaded the bootloader then the image
but still stuck on starting
