im on blackhole 2.0,3 and i want to update my image to vix image wuld i need to update bootloader 1st or can i just vix image on
i dont no wat bootloader i have on my vu duo

I don't know anything about that boot loader Image, but it should not damage the box even if you flash the same boot loader on an original box, and then put on the latest image.
There is always the possibility that when you flash, that something can go wrong, and it is critical with flashing a boot loader. It is the case of making certain: that the boot loader is for your box; the USB Stick does work OK on your box, and there is constant power to the box while it flashes.

You already have the latest bootloader on this image but you don't say if you are using a clone or genuine box. If a clone which version?
