Vu Duo IR conflicting with TV IR

Any one had this problem or similar before?

My mate got a Vu Duo (clone) and the Duo is non responsive via remote while tv is on. Turn tv off and box works, face box behind tv and go round and box works.

Use box in different house it works.

The TV is a samsung le46m5.

Just wondering if there is any suggestions out there to fix this ?

Could be something to do with the IR transmitter bleed from the samsung TV, you could try a third party remote say a one for all first just to see if it is the bleed over
