    vu duo rebooting

    I have a vu duo clone which I replaced the power board on as was rebooting a lot was told to replace that to sort it, now it has come back the rebooting by is self, I cnt even get on to menu on fta channels, any ideas how to sort,I think it might be hard drive issues

    You need to take the Hard drive out and any USB sticks you may be using so that the new power supply is just running the receiver on its own, Test this for a couple of days see how it runs if its OK add one item back at a time and run again on test and repeat.

    If it still reboots with nothing attached then its either Poor Power supply again or corrupt nandflash/image

      I told hard drive as that's all I had in it, box wouldn't even start up so I put a usb in with a image to flash the box with the image and it read it but didn't erase it / format as normally does, so took it out and with hard drive out still reboots

      just tried different usb with image on box didn't even read or start up then

        managed to upload new image on box but still reboots

          mate its most likely PSU fault, had it myself , changing psu sorted it

            I sorted this by changing the c807 capacitor
            went to local electronics store ask for a 330uf 50v capacitor (58p per one ) then changed it round works fine now

                never done one and wont try,do it wrong and blow your box and there is a + and - side ooops crap .
