Item ready for pick up at the destination country place of collection. i wish it would hurry up been, up since 7am just in case

well it's been over a week since i got my VU+solo2 and i have to say it is a fantastic box, i fitted an old 200gig Hard Drive from a lap top in it and loaded it with vix3.808
i also have an External 500gig Hard Drive connected and i love the way that i can transfer from the internal drive to the external drive
i have all the free view channels set up in sub categories unfortunately no premium sly channels so i am still having to use my Blade Combo and it is a pain having to Disconnect & Reconnect boxes when i want to watch sly
now the problem, i only have 1 single cable at the moment (it's a long story) so is their any way that i can have the 2 Boxes connected via 1 cable is their a switchable box that i can fit between them
something like a DiSEqC switch but in reverse, i know that i am going to have to get a set of ladders and run some new cable soon but i only need this for the time being

take your time and do it correctly solo2 needs 2 cables,use your blade until you get your other cables in.

Today would be the ideal day to run a new cable from the dish, should be a clear sunny day with high of 18, the rest of the week should be dry and mild[ depending on where you live] So as cactikid said , Take your time and do it right.
Remember It is possible to damage an STB by changing inputs with them switched on.

Thank you for your replies i will have to get a set of ladders 1st and some good Quality shot gun cable i think 20 meters like this should do the job SATELLITE CABLE. Coax, Made up satellite cables. Satellite Superstore UK cable page. Satellite connectors. Low prices. Big discounts. Cheap cable.
i can put up with the Blade for a little longer and i would rather do the job properly than bodge it up as a make do for the time being fix that sometimes ends up as permanent
