Save FULL BACKUP of Current Image using DCC ?

I can ftp things using DCC version 2.96 by Berny, its about the only little program that I am used to and happy with using.

Anyway, now that I have my box fully up and running again I would very much like to take an "entire FULL Image" of what is on the box just now so that in the event of anything going wrong I have a fully backed up image saved to my computer that I just flash back onto it and it will work etc.

I have flashed this box quite a few times in the years I have had it but I have never done that one and only thing to keep safe and that just like I said, save a "FULL entire copy of the current fully working image" as it is now and have it saved onto my computer just incase.

I have had a look at DCC and see a few options that I think it more than likely is, but I just dont want to mess anything up as its a pain in the neck trying to get someone to help again should something going wrong, thats why I would like to have that full backup saved.

If someone could tell me what it is I do then it would be greatly appreciated, as I say, I have a fair Idea around DCC, but in all these years I have never done this believe it or not, .

If you are using a vix image. Just make an image then ftp on to the computer, using a FTP programme or by networking , or on a USB stick.

eventually got this done the other day once a mate told me exactly how to do it etc, so first of all I saved the full backup to a usb stick and then from that onto a folder that is saved on two seperate hard drives on my computer, so thats the job done, well for now anyway, , cheers digicon and cheers to my mate that told me how to do it too, he knows who he is without mentioning names

Make a Back up folder on desktop Save the full image onto usb or hdd in box using dcc connect to box go to ftp select usb or hdd whichever you saved to. Highlight imagebackup ftp across to selected Back up folder.
