Black screen on one channel and I can't figure out why.

I have had my Vu+ Duo for about a month.

I have one particular channel I just can't seem to view. I have tried rescanning the receiver and it makes no difference. I have attempted to manually tune the receiver and it makes no difference. For the first two weeks or so I could view this channel and I can receive all the other channels in that mux, so it can't be a bad signal and I have no problems with other channels.

The channel is the one I probably watch the most, could I have somehow accidentally locked it out? I checked the parental controls and they are not in force, but could I have done something else?

Any help would be most appreciated.

We would have to know the channel in question before someone could provide you with a suitable answer

I got in trouble on another forum for saying which channel it was, as they said this broke the forum rules.

Does it really matter which channel it is? I am pretty convinced it's something to do with the settings of the receiver.

about 7 or so channels on 28.2 are non viewable.

          Crime hd
          Nat geo hd
          History hd
          Sky Arts 1+2 HD
          SKY LIVING HD
          National Geographic HD
          National Geographic Wild HD

more hd channels will be added to the list as sky are changing their epg setup on their boxes.

OK. Thank you - that explains things. (I am a newbie to all this.) How are Sky doing this and canwe expect more of it? Can anyone explain in more detail or link to an explanation elsewhere?

If before posting you had done a quick search then this would have answered your question: http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums...e-more-415292/
