    VU + DUO losing channels

    Hi there, I have an original VU + DUO box (VIX) and I am losing channels all the time, it started with the HD channels then my children noticed that some of their kids channels have now gone too. is there any way I can stop this or get the channels back? I am a total novice with this and have no idea what skins are or blackhole is, I just plugged it in set up my dish and away it went. I have done a full auto scan (4 hrs later) no difference If you need any info from me to assist no probs.

      Try setting up and using auto bouquet maker in vix image. You can do a new list yourself with dreamboxedit if you prefer your own lists. When you press for channel lists and it comes up press red button for all channels and if as you say you did a scan the working channels will be in there. That should get you started. hth

          I have tried this with no luck, still have the same channels for example all I have are the treeview kids channels. I really am useless at this

              Apologies, I have just noticed I am on TSmedia is 5.7 but there is a 7.5 update available. will this make a difference if so how do I update it please?

                  Menu>Information>About>What version and build are you on?
                  Menu>Tsmedia>Tools>Software update>Press green
                  Menu>Plugins>Download Plugins>Settings>Catseye> sounds like you are on 28.2 download and restart box press top of dpad then blue to access favourites
                  Menu>Information>Network>Link at bottom should be green let's you know internet connected
