CrossEPG not working

I have installed the latest version of CrossEPG which is 8.1 but it does not work on my Vu+ duo. I am running OpenPLI image.

When i start the download, the back bar at the bottom starts but then quits straight away.

I have installed an older version 0.6.2 which works fine.

Any idea on why its not working?

i actualy had this problem a while back on vix turned out it was the skin i had installed so after furious hours of wondering what was wrong i decided to reload the default skin reinstlall cross epg run the downloader restart the box after downloader has finished check epg is working and then change skin back.

once you downloaded the update,,, reboot the box
