is it possible to get ts media installed and working on v2 duo clone?
im using vix apollo 019

this way

use the E2 v1.50 dcc panel and load the tspanel/tsmedia or any pluggin this way

you load the tspanel/tsmedia etc; after the image of your choice is flashed
open the dcc and click [TOOLS] then [packages]
in the green section on the left of the panel
a list of the packages on your box will upload
under the list are two bar strips [update package list]
and [upload package] click upload package bar a window will
open find and click on th tspanel file then click open on the
window the file will now load on your package list and will give
the loading info in the protocol pane under the package list.
once loaded,close the dcc and re start your box when it
re boots you will find the tspanel in your menu list ready to use
just remember to use the correct section and the items for the image
you have on the box this method also works with all linux box models

thanks for reply i have dcc v2.96
and when i connect and go to upload package i only have bootmanager or startmenu.
when i click update packages i get ipkg-cl not found.
as you advised do i have to use specifically dcc v 150?
ive looked in the downloads section and can only find v 1.30

have followed your instructions ,now have dcc v1.50 connected via router clicked update packages,all i get is folder lang?
so unticked opkg and ticked ipkg tried again then protocol box starts to fill with updated lists of avail packages when it finished
a get index path not found ok i also get yellow bar loading packages any ideas where im going wrong please
also in the tools menu the root memory is 95% full is this normal?

if you have taken the tsmedia file from it's folder and put it on your desktop
when you click the upload package bar on the dcc it should take you to a window
on your computer where you click browse and find the tsmedia file then click open
and the window will close and you will see the file upload un the dcc panel once finished
you close the dcc panel and go to the box and turn it off and on with switch on the rear
panel and once it boots the file will be loaded and you should see it in the menu list

thanks for your patience ive tried everything above:
installed extracted tsmedia from desktop and ftp into tmp then rebooted ,and still cant get it installed ,so out of interest i tried to install mgcam 1.38 from boxs addon manager, just to see if box would accept any addon, and rebooted,
and i get the following :collected errors no space left on device pkg write filelist failed to open.var/lib/opkg/info e2 plugin ext tsmedia no space left on device?
when in dcc tools menu memory info shows root almost full at 96%,is this why ts media install fails?
also in dcc tools/ packages i get index path not found with a yellow bar "loading packages" but nothing loads into the packet list.
reflashed full image and tried again ,now memory info shows root at 55%

hi benny9,when i look in dcc/usr/lib/enigma2/python/plugins/extensions /tspanel/_init_.pyo
its size is 164 attributes 625
so its in the box when i go to box addon menu and click green for downloads ,please wait
after ages
i exit and get the message

could it be that the "bad magic number" refers to attributes 625?

Just to let you know it is well documented that both TSpanel and TSmedia have problems with the OpenVix image, You may have better Luck trying a different image

Also TS media is in Vix feeds and can be downloaded via pluggins.

ive no problem trying another image that it works with
( as long as cccam is still possible)
any suggestions as to the best one please
ive previously used open pli4 but epg was a headache with this image and vix epg is vgood

In the vix image you download tsmedia from plugins as stated above i'm sure at the moment it's 7.2 full download it from plugins restart it update ts media in tools to 7.5 although 7.6 may be available soon. Ts media works fine on vix You will probably find it's Ts panel causing you headache. You can download other stuff from plugins on vix too. It looks like you will have to do a reflash anyway.

you mention your vu is a clone , and I see you have been advised to perhaps try vix image , I have to warn you to use care when using vix images as the more recent images have clone killing software in them .
