    vu+duo cant upgrade image bu usb

    hi guys got a vu+duo genuine , i have blackhole image 2.1.1 on it..trying to upgrade by usb but its just not reading the usb stick which is the one i use many times before, troed other sticks as well still wont read..tried rear usb ports as well still no good....just keeps botting up to image thats on it..is there an alternative way to flash the latest image..

    You can Flash Via the RS232 Com Port with null modem cable you will need the VU+ Util program available from there website (I Think) and also the image will need to be in .NFI format

      you can get the official firmware from vu on this link
      the file you need is the first on the list
      vuplus-image-bm750
      with a null modem cable only use the nfi image
      this should clear the box then you can flash the image
      of your choice with a usb stick

        usb sticks with vu are fussy and only a few work,kingston,cruzer,integral. i always format them on old xp laptop to fat 32.
