    video/resolution settings

    hi
i am having a bit of trouble with my screen settings.
the back grounds on tv are really bad , its hard to describe but the shading doesnt blend in and there is a visable difference from where it goes darker to lighter instead of being smooth.....does anyone understand what i mean and how to solve it on my vu duo running blackhole 2.0.3

    cheers

try a different hdmi cable, yes i believe your trying to say picture is not crisp and clear, also does tv screen need a good clean as you would be surprised to see the crap removed from some.

on the left hand side can you see the shading is clearly in lines?

yes i see it is not the best, check all your connections,i would still try a better hdmi cable to see if it improves or post what settings are on use on box and tv someone might spot something.

The first thing to look at is turn off all picture processing modes on your LCD/LED/Plasma such as Dynamic contrast, HDMI Black level, MPEG noise filter. Just so you know they could be labelled something different on your set.

But this is a good starting point
