Channel change taking 7 seconds

Hi guys I wonder if anyone can help.
I have vix 2.2 on my VU solo which has worked great for the last few weeks, but in the last few days I get the issue whereby the channels take around 7 seconds to change.
This happens on FTA channels as well as the pay channels and I do not have an HD connected. And while I'm waiting for the channel to change, the 'vix spinning' logo appears in the top left corner of the screen.

Have you just updated from 2.1 ?, my wife seems to think Its slower since updating it, personally I dont notice it myself.
I take it you have done a reboot etc since installing the update m8 ?
How have you got your epg set up also ?

Epg update is set to 'Manual update'
