    Vu Solo Timeshift

My vu solo is running perfect, recording, pause & rewind all good.

I sold my 500gb hdd to a friend and I am now just using a 32gb stick for recording now as I do not use the recording alot.

Had a few problems getting the stick setup but all good now.

Im just a bit curious as to whether you mount a drive as media/usb or media/hdd and what does permanent timeshift mean?

Mount as Media/USB, the permanent timeshift feature is similar to Sly as in when you switch channel the HD or USB stick will start a timeshift so if you want to rewind back from the moment you switched on that channel you can do. Just be aware some USB sticks dont have a fast enough write data speed to keep up with the timeshift thats why its always advisable to set this up on a hard Drive
