Autotimer

I set an autotimer to record Romanzo Criminali every Tuesday on Sky Arts 1.

I believe I did it correctly, it came up exact match, only record on weekday tuesday, with green ticks.

The problem is it recorded the repeat episode last night for some reason.....

Once you set it, go in to the timer section and see what it throws up.

Good tool but just getting used to the multiple controls that it offers.

never ventured in there ,i just use the epg to set recording.

Its handy mate. Once you set the constraints up its a doddle. One click for the rest of the week. Dependent of a uptodate EPG mind you unless you just pick time and not descp.

It is fine for other programs, when I go into timer overview it is showing like 4 Romanzo Criminalis. No idea why...

Also when I schedule a epg download for 4am, when I wake up the box tends to have frozen since the update.

I turned it off mind you so maybe its just that I need to update EPG...

I found that also with the epg and now I just do it manually when I remember.

wow me also,i bet you 2 are not putting the box into deep standby,if i just use remote to power off next morning it will be frozen.

Yeah I usually just put box into standby. What is the difference really.

I thought standby was better as recording could still take place in standy but not deep standby.

If anyone has a fix for this autotimer issue please post here...

ah i dont record on the solo yet,only 8 months in setting up
waiting to put back the furniture first.
