Search google for the make of your usb then format tool ie kingston format tool if you are using kingston usb. hth

there is usb format wizard installed on BH image 1.7.9.. i wonder if it can be downloaded separately without having to install the whole image

I have never needed to use a USB format tool for many years but have always had the HP one as a backup and it has never failed me, Hope its of some use.
