hi just got my new vu solo2 and was going to fit a hard drive i took out of a sly box on taking off cover of box the sly hd is far to big can any one tell me what i need ie make and size please thanks mial

You are probably better of with 2.5 hdd making life easier for yourself. You could search vu solo 2 with 3.5 hard drive
The vu community has a full tutorial with pictures. hth

The Solo2 can only take 2.5" Hard Drive size and nothing else

Check vuplus community under vu modding art vu solo 2 with 3.5 hard drive. It has been done although not a job for the layman though hence the reason I told mial to stick with 2.5 hdd. This saves any future problems with warranties.
