Hi looking on ebay to buy vu box there is one being sold cheap a vu solo single tuner sent a message to seller asking if box was new or a clone the reply i got it was chinese box with a chipset can any one tell me what that is any information appreciated thanks mial

that sounds like a clone box mate,
it could be new or used it should say
in the sales info posted if your interested
you need more info on what clone version
it is. btw: genuine vu models come from Korea

If the Solo is a Clone then it is more than likely a Ferrari Clone version, You now have to determine which version of chip is inside which will decide which image you can use on the receiver.

Stick a v2 clone safe image in all solo/duo Ferrari clones regardless of chipset up to v3.2 way quicker boot times especially on v3 clones
