HI guys as it states Vu solo clone dont no what verson it is? No sticker anywhere?

The Image on it now is:

crossepg is not running right, I what to have a 7day EPG and people are saying try a new image

so what is the best safe image that i can run in my box?

is there a way to check my version number if its not on the box?

version 721 is your image,original boxes are on 793.what way are you saving epg to usb?

I just mount the usb from front usb, point to usb to save epg! crossepg download

usb in rear of mine,have you updated providers and reselected and downloaded from the menu-plugins page?

I do everything that you say! it downloads then after 10-20 mins it freezes i have to reboot the box, then the epg turns to internal storage! which cant hold the epg!

I was reading it could be the usb stick , so have changed to my 160gb Hdd to store it all! time will tell!

It sounds like you need to reflash the box. If you are unsure about clone version but are sure it is a Ferrari clone then stick any v2 clone safe image on it. To be honest though if it is a Ferrari clone and you Flash a solo image it won't break the box, if the image is to high a version it just won't boot.

I emailed the guy and he said its a v2 old box!

So that v2 clone safe image will be fine then?

Do you think I could put back on the Vix 3.0 and it will let me use the EPG and be fine?

Yes m8 it should be ok , look for VIX 3.0.761 VU+ Ferrari V2a image then you can use the online update to update it to the latest version of vix
