just got a solo it came installed with vix and it has crossepg downloader instled am I right in thiking crossEPG is my channel list I now its set to save to internal memory would I be better putting a usb in the back and changing the settings also how do I connect to the box

Hi Lee,
CrossEPG is the EPG down loader for the image installed, you would be better inserting a usb stick in the back of the Solo and then on the CrossEPG menu change from internal memory to USB stick.
you will have to mount the USB so that the image sees the Stick do this by going into the Mount Manager and selecting USB for your mount device, I am unsure what the process is for mounting manually on Vix but i am sure one of the other members will know.

You will need to Upload a Motorised channel list probably easier is to upload Catseye's from here: http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums...ml#post2190739
Use the Excellent Dreambox edit Guide by SGTFlipflop to upload the channel list to your receiver
