no power to dish

ok so just set up my motorised dish, all looks good, put up right, connected it to the vu box and nothing, no power or anything. is it something simple im doing wrong? do i need a firmware update? im confused and its very annoying after the couple hours of putting it up

do you have the control cable from lnb to your box as there is one point on a multi lnb to move your dish,all other cables to other rooms cannot move dish,have the box been setup correctly to use with motorised dish as box sends current back to motor for movement.
