VU+ Solo2 Software

What software do ya think is best for an original VU+ Solo2? Most Stable?
I am running PLI as what I am use to from DB 800se usage.
I stuck PLI on it yesterday... latest build... but was dead this morn and needed a reboot.

Could be a once off.. will leave for a few days to see

i use vix on all my vu boxes and others use blackhole.

a lot of the images are based on the pli format
and i have used the open pli nightly build image
on the duo/uno/solo2 and never had a problem
i also use the bh image but thats just my choice
it's a image you like best to go for everyone has
there own favorite

Image is a User preference as there are many available and each to there own, Most prefer Vix for its ease of use and is very newb friendly Blackhole is based very closely on Original VU Firmware

I find BH is the most user friendly especially when setting up IMO

this could go on forever with members giving
there own personnel image preferences, i also
like the blackhole images, i have tried many others
and to be quiet honest most work very well,and the
best advice given is test the various images then use
the image you find or like best

I have Open pli AND I LOVE IT. Very easy to use

For my dm800se I used to use OpenPLi but for my Duo and Solo2 I use ViX, was a bit of learning curve initially to setup but I've found that once flashed I don't really need to install anything extra, everything that I want is already installed.

Have a look at the plugin called "meoboot" if you have a hard drive you could have maybe 5 different images installed which you can switch to at each time you boot your solo up, great plugin.
