VU+ SOLO2 remote control stopped working......

Well my new clone solo2 remote has stopped working. However i have noticed if i press the green button the LED lights up on the remote. After some time then the remote starts working again.

Is there a common problem with this or just a faulty remote?

Have you tried new batteries? Reprogramming Remote? Have you had new funky bulbs fitted in room or any new wireless machine? (sometimes can cause interference) Have you clear direct line? Just a few things to check other than that borrow a remote you can program the vu one. Check if they work ok. hth

Well i turned my wireless off in the house. Still didnt work. I went up the garden (long garden) to check if remote works (or atleast lights up the LED) and nothing.

Im in a fine line of sight to the box and i even went right up to the box.

Have tried numerous batteries that we have in other remotes.

As i say the GREEN button illuminates the LED fine. The others do not.

Could be a programming issue? but why dont all buttons light up when i press them?

I have disassembled the remote and solder all points to make sure not a dry solder.

I have switched off all my IR electrical items in the house.

No joy at all. I think faulty remote but, i could try repgram it but how do you know?

I just downloaded a android app called GALAXY UNIVERSAL REMOTE which uses my phones IR to zap the channel via IR..etc

IT WORKS! cannot believe a simple app does that. Well at least it confirms the box is 100% ok and its 100% a remote fault.

Think i will also get a hormony 600 or 650 just for the sake of it too now.
