Please help solo2 will not boot

Hi got up this morning to find my box with auto boquet on display it would not turn on I turned main power button of left it for a bit
turned it back on nothing happens ive tried turning it of and putting memory stick in front with backup image on still nothing any ideas ?
I have only had it 1 week well impressed up to now

Not been messing at all it was all fine when I went to bed last night been running OpenATV 4.0 UK Ready VU+Solo2 Backup By TenBelow image for nearly a week no issues up to now it seems bizarre that several of us are having exactly the same issue at the same time running all running different images

cheap built boxes as the quality is not there.i can see a few dozen more coming soon.

As a few others have this problem what are the odds of this being dodgy clone boxes all deciding not to work at same time? Some have even said they didn't do anything like mess with images, etc.

A few others have said they woke this morning to find this which would imply that maybe a corrupt auto boquet/epg download or something that happened (or set to automatically do) overnight.

This is just a guess.

That's what it looks like mine had auto boquet on the screen but was frozen and would not turn on after turning off at the back the screen is blank hopefully some one whos wiser than me can find a fix soon

Yep mine has died also, running BH 2.9 image. All working well last night, woke up this morning now nothing.

autobouquet is made for vix so thinking you might have been on zeus firmware?

I am having the same problem, got home from work found box dead. was running openPli 4.0.

There are more reports coming in from various places and as RD said on here as well as a few other members it could have been a time bomb planted in the drivers a while ago , I cant see this holding up the Clone makers though as they will have to work on a fix for this ASAP or sales will no doubt hit Rock Bottom

I was watching my Solo2 (clone with openATV4) last night, at about 2 o'clock all of a sudden cccam stopped working, so I tried changing the channels. It did not start again by itself so I just changed the box to a FTA channel. It was fine there for a few minutes, then I decided to check if the scrambled channels would now work, and as I was changing the channel again the box froze. After a few seconds I got the text "Vu+ Solo2" on the front panel instead of the channel name that was previously, so I thought it was rebooting. But then the screen went blank, no signal on TV nothing on the box panel. Now all I get is the blue light in front, and the ethernet lights at the back. No connection can be made to the box with serial cable, both Null modem or the regular one that came with the box. And USB not working. Processor heats up though, probably more than usual. I see others have had the same problem, wanted to join in to see if there will be any solution. I sent the manufacturer/seller of the box in China a message this morning, waiting for a reply.

Was thinking of getting a solo 2 clone but after reading various threads not sure now if I get one with pre 2014 like vix 808 should this work fine as long as not system update is done through the box itself or should I hold off for the meantime

Personally I would hold off for hopefully a short time.

A lot have been bricked and people are working on it now; also chinese will have received a lot of complaints inc request for refunds so they are likely to try their best to get this sorted as well.

More might be known in a few days.
