New member help and suggestion

Hi all, great community, I'm new to all this vu stuff, I recently acquired a vu solo clone box, and it's working OK, I noticed that recently I have a lot of lugs, I went to check my firmware and is the 1.7.4.0, now my question is: will the update fix this? Is it worth update my box or there is a risk to brick it? Is the update procedure easy to do or is better I contact the guy from where I got it from?

at least you had the sense to ask about updating,i am sure someone can advise on patched safe firmware for your box.

Do you need to update it is it not working? If you are looking for a clone safe image you need to what version you have usually they have v1 v2 or v3 sticker underneath. It will help others help you if they know. hth
