airplay on vu solo 2

looking for a airplay that works on vu solo 2 with image vix 3.0 currently got airplay 0.4.1 on the box but it needs a key and really haven't got the funds at the moment to get the key so looking for a airplay plugin that works on vu solo 2 box

Hi - just thought I'd reply as I have been playing a lotrecently with trying to get this to work too.

I am quite new to the world uf Vu but I too have a Vu Solo2 and originally had Vix 3.0. I tried both the AirPlayer and OpenAirPlayer plugins with not much luck.

I switched over to Blackhole instead of Vix and had better success, but not 100%.

I have latest version of Blackhole and AirPlayer from here: AirPlayer.biz ? Thema anzeigen - AirPlayer 0.4.1 (iOS7 fix) (OpenAirPlayer just seems to crash every time so I did away with that)

I can view pictures and airplay music from by Ipad/iPhone to my Vu, but I can't get video to work e.g from Youtube app. It tries to play it and I can hear the sound coming from my TV, but thats where I am at.

I also find that if I do the trick of switching airplane mode on/off a few times, it connects better. Its all very hit and miss for me and from what I've ready on loads of other forums, its not 100% perfect.

Maybe a premium key would make videos work better, but I'm not donating to get a key without seeing it in action for myself first.

Try switching to Blackhole, maybe you'll have more success with that. I find the options/addons better too in Blackhole (personally)
