    VU Solo Clone how to setup usb wifi dongle? Help

    Hi I have a VU Solo Clone, Vix Apollo 003 and want to no how to setup usb wifi dongle?

    I searched online to see if my wifi dongal ( Belkin F5D8055 v2 ) will work & I found a list with supported dongles, & its on it! Good

    This is what it said:
    Here the list of devices supported by RT3070 driver = USB: 050D:825B Belkin Components F5D8055 N+ Wireless Adapter v2000 [Ralink RT3070]

    But I can't find a tutorial on how to set this up!

    I installed the wifi usb drivers this way:

    menu/plugins/ferrari addons/wifi USB drivers/Vu+ Solo RT3070 Kernel 2.6.18-7.3

    It says finished & its up to date!

    Then I turn off box plugin usb wifi turn it back on & nothing happens

    I dont no how to get the box to pick up the usb wifi? I checked about in the settings but cant find anything that lets me no the box has a usb wifi connected to the box??

    any help welcome

      The Wi-Fi option is generally in the network setup, Never used Vix so maybe someone with experience can clarify for you

          Thanks for your replay, yeah I was in there looking for that but still no joy! can anyone whos running vix with wifi tell me how they did it?

              Menu>Setup>System>Network>Device setup>Network wizard>Press ok to configure
              I dont have wifi but if you've downloaded the driver and have dongle attached then it should work let us know how you get on.

                  I do know The Blackhole image has this option as long as stated above you have the relevant drivers for your dongle in the image

                      Update!!! Hi I have found out that that my Belkin F5D8055 v2 doesnt work for me, I have bought a cheap usb wifi adapter that says it works with Vu all , skybbox all etc off ebay ?6.99 and it works! I just downloaded the driver from the download section in the box & wifi showed up in the network menu (I could never see the Wlan in the menu), then set it up through the wizard!
