Old universal Remote control with solo2

Hi guys,

had an old duo that died last month. I also bought the universal remote control as an addition to control my lg tv

now I bought a new solo2 that comes with the same remote control as the universal one.

the issue I'm having is that I would like to use the old one and leave the new one as spare, KIDs!!!!

i tried using it but the solo2 doesn't respond, I can turn on/off my tv with it but can't use the solo2.

i also tried resetting it and reprogramming it but without luck.

any hints?
