bricked solo clone

I have a bricked Solo2 clone is there anything i can do?.I have read several threads ,tried to flash bootloader but not sure if its a waste of time or does chip need replaced ?or does someone have any software or ideas?

What exactly did you do to brick it and do you know what type of solo 2 you have? What image was on when bricked etc
