Solo 2 with VIX - newbie questions

Hi, just got a Solo 2 with VIX pre-loaded, and I am a complete newbie. I have a few really silly questions;

1) Why are there so many EPGs? Are they all active at the same time or do they do different things? How do I know which one is active? How do I make sure they are kept up to date? Which one is the best for Sky UK.

2) How do I change skins? Please could someone point me in the right direction?

3) What is a Bouquet? From reading various posts it sounds like categorisation of channels - is that right?

4) On the remote I see a button to power the TV on and off, could someone tell me if that works and how I can program it for my TV?

5) What does CCCam, MGCamd, Nline and Cline stand for?

1 EPG Electronic program guide = Current list and scheduled program list.
2 Download skins from plugins. To change skins press menu>setup>system>user interface>skin setup then select one of the downloaded skins.
3 You guessed that one right.
4 Yes works tv read your manual.

Thanks for the tips, sorted the skins and the remote, and set up my bouquets with DreamboxEdit.... but still a little confused with the EPG.

There are so many options; graphical, infobar, openTV etc etc etc. When I select Download now, nothing much seemed to happen, but within OpenTV if I selected SkyUK then it downloaded a lot of info (about 12MB) and the EPG updated. What would be the best settings for Sky UK?

i use cross epg also,make sure you have it to save in usb or hdd and not internal flash,crossepg-open tv provider green tick on 28.2 and save,and configure it on cross epg setup enable import --yes---schedudule download once a day green button ok
