recording problem

hi can anyone help got a solo2 original using latest vix 147 image twin tuner both set to 28.2 when recording i can only watch freeview channel tried blackhole image same problem tried cline in another box its ok tried taking box to my mates hes got motorised and fixed setup both tuners move dish just what ever channel you record you can only watch freeview ive tried setting record to tuner a and the b and its still same , any ideas? im thinking it must be box faulty or tuners but cant understand why u can watch freeview . when you flash new image does it overwrite everything?

I am Afraid we cannot help you with the 'Cline' part it is against Forum Rules, all i will say is this if the receiver can watch and record 2 different Free To Air channels then its obviously not a Box or Image problem and so your answer lies elsewhere which again brings us back to adhering to Forum Rules

the cline is not the problem its something in the box or faulty tuner, if u flash new image does it overwrite everything?

yes if you flash box up from scratch do not restore settings from within so no faulty data can be applied,it WIPES everything.

big question do you have 2 feeds for 28.2 and setup tuner a and b the same.2 sets of numbers to use on a multisat tuner box but i cant say what they are but can guide you 2.3.0 and 1.38 forum rules best of luck.

I would say try another image as you already said you can record something on 1 channel and watch just freeview on the other which rules out a hardware issue, personally try a different image

that was an issue posted elsewhere using the wrong bits and when changed worked

yep sorted box changed from 2.2.1 to 2.3.0
