i have a solo 4k box , that ive had a couple of years now , i used to use a pay server for uk and Europe channels (28 19 13 deg on dish) , i wanted to update its software and get iptv and other pay server channels but ive no idea where to start , can anyone help ?

I am afraid that due to Forum rules which i am sure you have read we are unable to help you with anything to do with obtaining Pay TV Channels illegally.
Google of course is an entirely different matter and should help you no end.
All i can tell you is that dependant on whom you shall seek out in this endeavour may give you a script to upload to your box via a Telnet command, while some have .ipk apps that you can install directly to the box itself
