    menu>options>set the digi-tv A/U to on
and if your useing the latest patch from
15/7/09 the patch will auto update the keys for you
you dont need to load the softcam unless you dont want to
wait a few mins for the key to update. it wont give any probs if you load the softcam

Thanks for the prompt reply Benny, as always great help.

So do I understand right, once I load the new patch (which I did last night), I wont have to load softcams again?????

Would I then have to load the next patch? what I'm trying to ask is would Digitv be open for a good while???

thats correct mate the latest patch was to fix the digi-tv A/U thats why you need the A/U turned on in the menu options and when there's a key change you just leave it set on a digi-tv chn and the patch will update the key for you. as for how long it will keep updating that depends on the provider, if they make a major change that could knock the patch A/U out and stop it updating, then you need to load the softcam again, there wont be anouther patch untill some thing needs a fix
or there is something new that the patch can open.

    I have a TM3200

So it doesn't have the AU facility option is that correct

I have noticed a couple of time when I go to enter Keys before I can enter it updates.

So as its patched do I just wait for 1W to update itself each time?

    Hi

am not too up on these things, but have not seen a patch for 3200 with AU fixed.

Someone will be along in a minute with more knowledge than me.

    Strange

Last night I switched to Digi to enter the keys got called away and when I came back Digi was clear again

    Second time this has happened

Thats why I thought it was AU

Either that or I had been at the Gin again

the tm 6000 hd boxes have always been the last in line for patches
it's the same for the clarke-tech 5000hd thats the same spec as the tm 6900
i often wonder if it's more difficult to make patches for the hd models
but it's not much trouble to load a softcam
