    Default New firmware for Skybox and Openbox

    New software for Sky/openbox S9,S10,F3,F4,F5,F4S,F5S,A3,A4,M3;M5

    Software is interchangeable so it can be used both for skybox and openbox. Openbox and Skybox receiver both can be upgraded by this software.

    Instructions. Please read this carefully before upgrade
    This firmware is not safe for clone boxes.

    The first thing to do is save the downloaded firmware file (unpacked) on the root of a USB flash disk,

    Plug USB disk to the back of your receiver. It will be recognized by the receiver.

    1. Before upgrade, do a Factory Reset:

    * Go to TOOLS menu and click on Factory Settings
    * Click Yes to continue. The receiver will go to factory default and restart.

    2. Upgrade Firmware:

    * Click on MENU and go to TOOLS menu again
    * Scroll down to "Upgrade by USB"
    * Click on START
    * Choose Image File[*.abs]
    * After the loading is completed, Accept the upgrade.
    * The receiver will restart.

    If somthing goes wrong and your box don't repond don't panic. Just follow this post to recover your box.
    Have fun

    This software will be replaced and updated as soon there is a new version.

    copy from anouther link hope it helps.Satellite Scans still Blanked Out - Just go to =>Satellite List - Select the satellite you are on at that time eg. 28E => Press OK => Exit => Go back again and select 28E again => Exit and channels scans should be selectable again

    [QUOTE=rkabishi;1169507]

    Did you do a factory reset? Try to go menu/ satellite list/ and uncheck and check again all the satellits you want to scan?
