i have v1.85 but i didn't test this version....so if nobody other can share i would upload it for you, but only if no one other can share!

BMW S1000RR read file 2,5mb from obd is that ok? BDM file is 2.0mb. Anyone with experience in this please respond.

I ordered one of these, kess v2 version 1.89. Never worked from day one and looks like its a returned unit. Reflashed it with jtag and still get eefface error. Every time i try and install the software it deletes all my other interface drivers which i use for other software. Chinese crap, although my clone ktag works a treat?!?!?!?

My unit works perfect in everything I used it so far. I really love it one of the best tool I have. The only thing I changed is the card files and used the ksuite that came with k-tag clone.
I also have all the accessories of them genuine

EEFACE error normally means bad micro SD contact or bad content on SD.

Thanks i'll have a look at it tomorrow to see if i can get it working, used my ktag yesterday on a customers edc17cp14, works like a charm. One thing i'd like to know when using the ktag software with kess, do you need to add any drivers from the kess software?

Thanks for the advice guys, flashed the original sd card contents back and it seems to work. Luckily i backed the sd card when i first got it, just need to test on a car now!

hi mates is there a possibility to write with kess a file that was read out with bdm or with eprommer?

Yes, it's possible to modify a dump to be programmed by another tool as long as the relevant info has been read by both tools. Relevant sections can be copied between files, obviously checksums will be affected.

yes for sure......but that was not my question.
For example i want to read a file thrue OBD and the tool can't read, only write is possible.
So i don't know how the read would look like.

And my question was now....if i have a dump from bdm or from eprommer if it would be possible to write over obd WITHOUT any modifications.
Write the dump as it is.

Will this work or not?
