    Default sky f3 dead

    hi have an f3 sky box and it is totally dead wont even switch on any ideas

    Possibly.

    Take the cover off (with the box unplugged from the mains). I think the F3 uses the same PSU board as the S10/S11. Have a look at C11 (1000uF 10v) & C15 (470uF 10v). The tops should be perfectly flat, with no bulging or discolouration.

    Edit...I have seen a different board layout on some F3's, so the circuit references might have changed. Just look for any bulging caps.
