    Default Password help

Hi all my brother has recently passed away and now our mam has his laptop, however it's password protected.

Before I reformat it, is there any way the password can bypassed as there might be some photos and other sentimental things on there that my mam may like for memories.

Pretty sure it's on windows 7

    cheers

Hi on the beginning sorry to hear that sad information, my condolences. Regarding yours request easiest way is download Hirens Boot bootable iso and there you have tools to clear password in windows platforms, i was using that cd for ages and never let me down in password situation.

I have never tried that. You can remove the HDD and place into a caddy, with correct security bypass you can adjust ownership to suit and recover.

What ever you do dont format or delete partitions

    Sorry for your loss mate
