Literally just got it running a few hours ago mate by bypassing the fuel lines and tank. Ran 2 bits of piping from the flow and return join on top of engine into a 10 litre drum of diesel, primed the system with the bulb and she started up straightaway. Left it ticking over for 15 mins and didn't flicker.

So fault either lies with the sender unit, fuel lines themselves or diesel cooler. I'm swaying towards the cooler as its dented.

But hopefully tomorrow I'll get some longer pipe and run direct from tank to engine to rule out the sender unit. Just happy it's a little progress at last

Nice job! now all you have to do is place the 10 litre drum on top of the car and secure it with some power tape..

Try to leave the flow and return pipes open under the hood, or use the piping you already have to direct flow to a bucket and blast some compressed air on return pipe, there is nothing 10 bar of pressure can't fix...

    second though... 5 bar max....
A failure will not appear till a unit has passed final inspection

Lol it wasn't in a major hurry as she already has a car, this is just one to replace hers with it only being ?30 a year tax and mint on fuel.

Blew some air down the line and it's now starting on its own fuel lines. Well will try shortly as its been left over night, that will be the test

1k views for a ~~~~ty pug 😂. It's still starting ok, just got a few problems left to iron out. It's not detecting that drivers door is open so think I need a new switch/lock for that. On its first little run out for nearly 6 months the abs light has come on so I'll hook it up to pp when I get home in a few days, and no doubt discs and pads will need changing for mot
