Default Saab 93 2004 CIM replacement

I have a Saab 9-3 2004 with the failed CIM. Can I get an CIM used in purchased scrap?

yes, as long as you have the means to load virgin file to 93lc66 eeprom and then add with tech2 and globaltis.
or if used cim has at least 1 key then again with tech2 add that to the car keeping existing donor cim key data

Can you not just tech2 clear it and then pair it to the existing engine ecu like the vectra?

Only difference is supply voltage, c 2.5~5.5 and lc 4.5~5.5. So should work ok.
