dont really understand what your asking.... but form what i can make out...
this box is a FTA box, with many capabilities. its a dm500c and a 500s in 1 unit.
cant really discuss about opening chnnles as thats not allowed... but it does have a LAN port on the back.... hint hint

from what i'm aware of m8 it will open all the cable channels and satellite channels that a dreambox C/S would with the appropriate cam/keys/roms
